Flipboard is the most popular news reading app on smartphones. Flipboard, however, was exclusive on iOS platform: iPhone, iPad. However, Flipboard’s latest beta for Android has been leaked.

For Android, Flipboard appeared as an exclusive on Samsung Galaxy SIII, however, the beta is now public, making it available to millions of Android phones.We’ve tried the app on various android phones, tablets and it already looks great.

We loved Google Currents, the news magazine app from Google. However, Flipboard is an industry standard we tend to enjoy reading with.

The app will be available in Google Play store soon as Flipboard tries to finish things up and gets ready for launch. But there is no reason to wait, the app is polished enough to show its lusture. We tested it on Galaxy SII, galaxy Note, Nexus One and Nexus S phones and experience was splendid. Among tablets, Galaxy Tab 10.1 did make the app feel butter at all times.
