Torrents would continue to live on all the platforms, no matter what RIAA or any other authority gets onto. While Torrents are not entirely about piracy, they also are popular among normal (legal) download sites.
Cydia app store would give you access to several Torrent clients but unless your iOS device is Jailbroken, you don’t really have access to them. But a tricky developer has come up with a workaround by creating a clever web application that actually can help you download and stream music, videos to iPhone without jailbreaking, the developer calls it NowStream.
NowStream, runs inside iPhone’s Safari browser and lets you download and Stream movies.
Developer is still working out the legalities of his creation, but you can sign up to be notified when NowStream is available.
