Reverse Tethering iPhone 3G/3Gs using USB

Step 1: Set up internet tethering on your iPhone.

Step 2: Plug you iPhone into your PC using the provided USB cable.

Step 3: Go to Settings>General>Network>Internet Tethering and switch it to "On." Then it will prompt you for bluetooth or USB, select USB

Step 4: Go to network connections and you should see your LAN connection and a new connection that says "Apple Mobile Device Ethernet." Simply highlight both connections, right click on one and select "Bridge."

You will now be using your PC's internet connection on your iPhone! It works for Cydia App store, Facebook, Safari, ect ect.

Note: After terminating the connection you must delete the bridge and make a new one when you re-connect.

Now this is something strange. Can you try removing it and reinstalling [latest version]. It works for me using the exact same steps. Reinstalling, rebooting could be one way out.

Yeah, here's the sequence:
1. Install MyWi via Rock my...
2. Under MyWi, WiFi Tethering is off. Under Tethering "USB and Bluetooth" is on.
3. In General Settings -> Network, Internet Tethering is On.
4. To be safe, I also went to General Settings -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings (then repeated step 2 and 3).

I do not see USB or iPhone in my network settings. Have you verified this to work on OSX?

Go to Settings–>General–>Network–>Internet Tethering on your iPhone and turn “ON” the “Internet Tethering” option. Connect iphone to Mac, chooe iPhone from the list of network services in your settings

I've got the app installed and can tether via wifi on Snow Leopard 10.6.2, but I can't figure out how to use USB to tether. I know how to enable it in MyWi, but I don't know how to get my Mac to use USB as the internet connection. I'm assuming it's obvious, but I'm obviously lost
