First Emotional Humanoid Robot Unveiled

Einstein once said, “It is impossible to fall out of love. Love is such a powerful emotion, that once it envelops you it does not depart. True love is eternal. If you think that you were once in love, but fell out of it, then it wasn’t love you were in. There are no ‘exit’ signs”. May be, the true value of this is best understood by this robot.

Not all robots are as cute and lovable as Kobain. They’re often as cold and mechanical as the parts they were built from. That has now changed with the Emotional Humanoid Robot that’s just been unveiled in Japan capable of a full range of human emotions.

The Emotional Humanoid Robot uses clever tech to show that human-like emotion isn’t entirely out of robots reach.

Just like us the Emotional Humanoid Robot’s got lips, eyelids and eyebrows, which it uses to show off its emotive skills and some impressive bodywork and a double jointed neck to express itself through actions.

If it’s feeling glum it’ll hunch over and hang its head like a grumpy toddler palming its face in grief or contempt for humankind.

According to Kobian’s makers the robot’s emotive skills make it better suited to interacting and assisting its fleshy human overlords. We just think it looks a bit freaky. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
