the most important thing to do before normal usage is to fully charge the laptop battery to 100%, then deliberately discharge it completely. and run the Battery down

I'm confused by Point #2 and #8 because they contradict each other. If keeping the battery frequently charged to 80% increases battery life, why would I follow #8 and avoid charging it until it's 30%? Keeping it at 80% is the key, after all, is it not? What exactly are you saying is right? Regular cycling, or constant maintenance around the 80% mark?
