How to Jailbreak iOS 4.1 iPhone 4, 3gs, 3g, iPod Touch

NOTE: If you rely on an unlock, do not update to iOS 4.1 yet. Either use TinyUmbrella to update to iOS 4.1 without update baseband, or wait for PwnageTool.

Step 1: Open Limera1n and connect your iPhone, then click on “make it ra1n”.

Step 2: Now wait for the device to enter recovery mode:

Now, hold “Home” + “Power” buttons, then release the “Power” button and wait for the device to enter DFU mode:

Step 3: Next, you should see the limera1n logo on your iPhone’s screen. Please wait while Limera1n injects the bootrom exploit to your iDevice.

Wohoo, your iPhone is Jailbroken

Step 4: Launch Limera1n app from your iPhone, and install Cydia and restart. You would have everything Jailbroken and in-place.
