i have a 2g i phone with version 3.1.2 (7d11) modem firmware 04.05.04_g used blackra1n get saved on the iphone but when i open black rain doesnt have cydia, rock or the other one its say cannot connect to internet

hey!!! i jst jst jailbreaked my iphone 3g on firmware using this blackra1n software…before this i already tried every other softwares bt they didnt wrk..thanx to black rain…
bt at the end of process my iphone is showin 'no signal' or ' …. ' or 'searching..' symbol instead of carrier networrk….rather its not showing any option like carrier in setting option even after installing my sim card….i m from ukraine and using 'life' carrier…what problem it can be???? i have also unlocked it bt i dont know whether i have unlocked it properly or not…

I’ve been trying to unlock and jailbreak my Iphone 3G with firmware 3.1.2 blackra1n. Finally made some headway but after I installed the blacksn0w and supposedly unlocked the iphone, i put my T-mobile sim card in and all that appears are low bars. . . like the weakest signal you can get. It doesn’t even say T-Mobile next to the bars. It’s almost as if it doesn’t recognize anyting. I did turn 3G off first thing and I’m about to try downloading snow through Cydia but can anyone tell me what I should do?

just a question … does this procedure work fro an iPhone 3G on 2.2 running firmware baseband 02.28.00. Does the restore firmware will update the baseband to 05.11.07?

Sorry to bother but it seems you guys are my last hope.
I updated accidentally my iPhone 2G to 3.1.2 (baseband 05.11). As I bought it from a diferent country I don't have the SIM card to activate it. I've run the Blackra1n but it did not activate it. I'm pretty sure Blackra1n did the job of unlocking and jailbreaking but it means nothing if I can't activate the iPhone.
Can you guys give me a hand and help me activating it?

I ahve tried all I can but the phone do not reboot to complete. My phone is 3g with latest software installed. Any ideas?

Hi, I have the wifi problem you indicated in the note at the end, the solution, hard power cycle, didn't sort the problem and the wifi still turns itself off. Do you have any more tips. Thanks for any help.

I am running blackra1n rc3 on iPhone 3G 3.1.2, this phone has never jailbroken before but the blackra1n is hanging on “running” from last 20 mins, the iPhone screen is showing USB cable and iTunes icon. Any idea ?????

PLEASE GUYS (( SOS!!! First of all, hi to all! Thanx for everything(blackra1n and etc.:), I recently updated my Iphone 3GS from 3.1 to 3.1.2 and I have a little problem. I was able to use CYDIA with no issues on WIFI, but now if I try on AT&T 3G, it opens and immediately goes to springboard. Any help will be appreciated.

Dude you have interchanged the links for the firmware versions!!!

Try downloading blackra1n from Cydia and sn0w it. If that doesnt help try resetting network settings too.
