Apple to launch Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on Oct 20

Apple might be chanigng the PC OS game by unveiling its next generation OS.

Apple has just announced that it will be holding a media event titled “Back to the Mac” on October 20th. The invitation hints to indicate that Apple will be making a new announcement for Mac OS X 10.7 or 11  (may be its end of the Mac OS X lineup).

Its almost confirmed that it would be called Mac OS Lion.

  1. Why the hell would they do this already? Snow Leopard just came out LAST year. They usually do not release new operating systems that close together. They better offer all of us Snow Leopard users a cheap/free upgrade…
