I returned mine in less than 24 hours worse e-reader ever. They said it had a touch screen and you can use it to turn pages what a joke and just try to click the page turner hope you only read a few pages a day because your fingers are going to hurt. Sony Touch Edition all the way . nook you might be good for someone who needs a workout cause that's what it takes to use one. Plus their support is the worse too. Thank God I got my money back now waiting on hp for their new device.

I would like to get a reader (of any kind or brand) for my parents, both of whom need large-print for reading. Is there something out there that is clearly best for those who need large print? The price of downloading books, articles, other features, and even the price of the unit itself are not so important in comparison to the need for large print. Thank you.

I got one. it was the biggest tech purchase mistake I've ever made. I hate it. It's slow to load, it clicks when you turn pages and freezes every other day. wish I'd bought a kindle

Nice review, like the design. The color screen is a nice feature, this make it a serious competitor for the amazon kindle.

Nook let's you adjust the font size to a LARGE one, Looked large-enough for my mom, that might help your friend as well. The Text to Voice or TTS Engine is not yet supported on Nook. But since this device runs on Android, we hope to see it (though we are not sure).
The interface has trivial bugs at this point. It's not sluggish, works almost at all times, however, it will improve further with future updates which of course would be free.
The eBook Reader market is getting more interesting than ever. yesterday i Saw Creative Zii announcing another eBook reader. Everyday there's a new one. I expect prices to slash further.
If you need one, go buy it, technology keeps on getting better and cheaper, don't wait!

The Nook looks really Kool. My friend has vision problems and liked the Kindle's large print and the ability to read the book to him. However, I understand that feature didn't work very well. Can the Nook read the book to you? How large can one make the print? Should we wait until all the bugs are removed before purchasing? Any prediction on where the price will be next year?

yes, There is no such Limit on bookmarking. Boomark pages, chapters, Titles.
