Mark S. is definitely on the right track. If you want to get a professional looking email address, Id recommend buying your name domain name, like or
ajf 4.5
If its common it might be difficult to get, however, be creative and you can usually find something.

@Michael
Tribute to MJ goes here http://www.taranfx.com/blog/?p=1236

@Suhel
At this part of time, there is not much info available on what will be supported by what browser. But there is one thing I'm sure of. When a standard comes into market, All companies adopt it no matter what. But their presentation layer varies slightly. HTML 5 has listed out more constrained definition for each of the presentation layer aspects, so we can hope for better inter-browser compatibility than before.

Even Today if you leave IE aside, most browsers are inter-compatible. Its just MS who his jeorpardizing browser industry with low speed inferior technologies of IE8
