As we predicted, iPad 3 will be announced on March 7th, in San Francisco.
Apple on Monday announced an event to show off the company’s next generation iPad. The event would begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
Next iPad would be called iPad 3 rather than iPad 2S. The upgarded would be huge as compared to the last time when iPad 2 barely had few differences over iPad 1.
iPad 3 would be all about Retina display with humungous resolution of 2048×1536.
Apple almost showed us in this screenshot that its going to be a Retina iPad 3. What we already know is that it will have:
iPad 3 Specs
- A6 processor: Quad-core 1 Ghz CPU
- GPU: Quad-core Graphics
- 1GB of RAM
- and 2048×1536 resolution on a 10″ IPS screen.
- 8MP camera, 1080p video
It could be time when Apple finally adopts 4G LTE networking with iPad 3.
