Canon 5D Mark III vs Mark II [Specs, Images, Video Samples]

When Canon EOS 5D Mark II was released  5years back, no one could predict that it would become no.1 choice for Video and Photography by professionals. Priced right at just $2500, 5D Mark II was perfect seller.

Canon has announced 5D Mark III, an upgrade to 5D Mar II. 5D Mark III brings some great upgrades in the direction of Canon’s true professional camera Canon 1DX.

5D Mark III sports a 22.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, with a whopping 61-AF point autofocus system, an ISO range of 100 to 25,600 (expandable to 102,400) and does 1080p full-HD video recording in 30, 25 and 24fps and 60fps at 720p.

5D Mark III seriously brings some pro features to avid photographers. Canon claims that other than Photo improvements, even video artifacts have been removed and video shot with Mark III way more crisp.
