Get Multiwindow SplitScreen Apps on Any Android

Samsung was the first to make it possible to run two applications in SplitScreen. They call it MultiWindow. The SplitView sure comes handy for the large screen smartphone/Tablet user who is trying to multitask on his device.

Samsung’s implementation has its own limitations but there is absolutely no love for SplitScreen apps on other Android smartphones. Thankfully, rooted Android devices have the privilege of access to this feature through the Xposed framework module.

XMultiWindow allows you to pick and drop apps from sidebar to the main area to create a SplitScreen / MultiWindow apps experience. What’s more is that you can resize individual application windows with no problem at all, something which even Samsung’s implementation is lacking.

Key Features of XMultiWindow:

How to Install XMultiWindow

Step 1. Make sure Android phone is rooted, Install Xposed framework.

Step 2. Install XMultiWindow Apk

Step 3. Once module is installed, you need to go to the Xposed app and activate the module and Reboot.

Step 4. Once phone reboots, go to the Xposed app > modules > XMultiWindow and configure your preferences. Ideally, you can set Sidebar window position according to your needs. Then, slide-out apps bar from left to right.

Step 5. Use the slide gesture to open up the sidebar and click apps to launch them in MultiWindow mode.

Enjoy the MultiWindow SplitScreen apps.
