DocVerse is is a small team of developers who luckily shared Google’s Vision.
The next step for Google is to integrate the two (Google Docs and DocVerse) and give-out one complete Cloud-based document editor.
The current DocVerse users will be able to continue using the service as usual, but that new signups have been closed until the company is “ready to share what’s next”, just like the case was with Gizmo5.
The move would help Google hit Micrsoft Office share in the productivity suite of apps.
The DocVerse acquisition, combined with Google’s recently announced enhanced file-storage capabilities, will help Google docs be irresistible for personal and small-enterprise usage, if not larger.
