Google employees aren’t supposed to be leaking out info by tweeting the details of the Google Phone, but they are allowed to tweet “how awesome it is”. As a result, Pictures of the device are starting to hit the web: This is the Pic tweeted by Cory O’Brien. He also quotes that, “Google Phone = iPhone + a little extra screen and a scroll wheel. Great touch screen, and Android.”
As you can see, the Google Phone, which is apparently being called the “Nexus One” (based on: this), looks exactly like the HTC Passion. Though they difference is, you’ll not see HTC-branding on it.
What we know So far: It will be called the “Nexus One” and will launch in early January, 2010, unlocked.
