Android brought the state of the art Notifications to Smartphones. Its surprising, nobody else thought about making notifications non-obstructive and seamlessly organized.
iOS 5 learned from Android notifications and made it even more attractive (as per iOS 5 lovers).
Its hard to conclude which is better, but in any case Android users can now Get iOS 5 like Notifications, Banner bubbles on Android phones.
One thing we do anticipate is that iOS 5 notification bubbles are visually appealing when compared to Android counterparts. As per the developers of the app these “greatly improve the way your device displays notifications,” but it isn’t always the case.
iPhone notifications are offered in two app flavors: free version and full version (paid). The paid version offers extra features of displaying full notification text, set individual settings for each app and tailor the experience to the nth degree by choosing themes for the notifications and setting custom vibration patterns.
