The New iPad is here, and its called iPad 4th Generation, with improvements on the existing Retina iPad aka New iPad aka iPad 3rd Generation.
What’s New in iPad (4th Generation)
It inherits the best of iPhone 5 and improves on that. It has double the CPU performance, double the GPU performance.
The new Processor is called A6X, which is twice as fast as A5X processor in terms of processing and Graphics.

iPad mini is 7.2mm thin, 0.68lbs, and comes in black and white. The screen size is 7.9″, vs. 9.7″ of iPad 4th generation.
However, 7.9″ iPad mini has resolution of 1024×768, same as iPad 2. iPad mini is thinner, lighter and bigger display than Nexus 7.
The specs of iPad Mini are slightly better than iPad 2.
