iPhone HD/4G Revealed [Video]

It’s two months to June, when next iPhone will be released, and rumors are shaping up.

Few days back engadget found a iPhone 4G/HD prototype which was lost from one of the labs where next gen iPhone was being tested. John Gruber—from Daring Fireball—says that Apple has indeed lost a prototype iPhone and they want it back.

Few claimed that it was a fake Chinese/Japanese clone of the iPhone. But soon after it was declared fake, Giz found out that few signs that made them believe that the prototype is genuine. The characteristics like getting identified in iTunes, Xcode, and System Profiler,  as “iPhone”  but with different product identifiers than the 3G or 3GS.

On the inside, it’s packed with Apple-labeled components. But till now, they haven’t been able to get it to boot out of recovery mode, but a number of new features and changes are evident just by holding it.

What’s new

Even though this might look 80% as the finished product, Apple might consider changing Form factor and end product might look a bit different.

Gizmodo is pretty confident that this is the actual iPhone we would see in June. They calim that it was running iPhone OS 4.0 even before it was released officially, but apple killed it remotely.
