Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 iPhone 4 3GS, iPod Touch [A4]

iOS 6.1.3 is out and it comes with lots of bug fixes and open issues. If you’re Jailbroken Untethered on iOS 6.1.2, we recommend you shouldn’t update to iOS 6.1.3 just yet.

Apple has closed the exploit in iOS  6.1.x that let Evasi0n achieve untethered jailbreak  on iPhone 4, 4s, iPhone 5 and iPad 4.

Who should upgrade to iOS 6.1.3:

Sorry, no jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 on iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPod Touch 5th generation.

What you need to Jailbreak iOS 4.1.3

Download iOS 6.1.3

Download iOS 6.0

How to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.3 on A4 devices: iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch

Important: This is tethered jailbreak only. You’ll lose jailbreak on every boot and will have to boot tethered to retain Jailbreak.

Step 1. Run Redsn0w 0.9.15b3. Click on the “visible Extras” button and then click “Select IPSW”.

Step 2. Browse and locate the iOs 6.0 ipsw that you downloaded initially.

Step 3: When selected, click “Jailbreak” button and things are pretty easy this point on. On-screen instructions will guide you. Wizard when prompts you to install Cydia, allow it to do so.

Step 4: Soon you’ll be prompted to put your iPhone/iPod Touch in DFU mode. Do so by following the onscreen instructions.

Once in DFU mode, your iDevice will be jailbroken using the popular Limera1n exploit.

How to Boot Tethered

Next time you reboot, make sure you tethered boot your iDevice.

Step 1. You can boot tethered by connecting your device to your PC or Mac.

Step 2. Launch Redsn0w, click on Extras and click on the “Just Boot” option, and your device will boot tethered.
