Probably you had a chance to look at how 3d gaming works on Nintendo 3DS. It was amazing to see the 3d popping out when the device is moved around.
Similar would be possible on iPhone 4 with new game titles arriving in App Store. For the mean time, a game called Gun Range uses 3d gyroscope controls for a First person shooter game.
The gyroscope adds what seems like nearly 1:1 motion control to the proceedings — and since you’re moving the display itself, it almost feels like augmented reality. It’s hard to explain, since it’s so unlike any mobile UI experience we’ve encountered before, but as soon as we tried it our brains pretty much exploded with possibilities . I believe there could be endless possibilities to this and one of the foremost things I’m looking to experience is the augmented reality apps like Layar, all kinds of crazy flight simulator games, 3D augmentation games.

The funny thing is, those same iPhone users seem really impressed with the G2 demo videos, until I showed them that the G1 can do just about all of the same stuff featured in the videos.
