Most Popular, Pirated Games of 2009 | Top 10

We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of Top 12 Games that were most popular and hence most Pirated in the year 2009.

The ranking is based on number of downloads over BitTorrent.

12. Dirt 2:

The game brings great set of graphics for that off road racing packed with lots of tracks, game deserves love from racing fans. Only disappointing thing was it’s rank in piracy. Do people like to pay for this game more than getting it for free? I don’t know.

11. Borderlands:

The game presents  a different kind of cartoon-ish characters that seemed to fascinated a few. Personally, I’ve no love for this game, I couldn’t play any longer than 15 minutes despite my sincere try not to leave it — Being boring is just one shadowing reason, it’s dirt slow on action. What has been famous, though, is it’s multiplayer online gaming.

10. Fallout 3:

Like any RPG, character advancement is both a means and an end. Fallout 3’s mechanics are far simpler and far improved than it’s predecessors. Faults be damned, though; this is the kind of hugely ambitious game that doesn’t come around very often, and when it does, you’d be a fool not to play it and enjoy the hell out of it and look forward to the day when the fidelity of open-world RPGs takes another big step closer to the uncanny valley’s far side.

9. Prototype:

Action gaming has a new name, no Action lover should ever dare to miss this game. This is among my personal favorites that impressed me with highly addictive graphics and action. The game has new surprises all the way, and power holds with you.

8. Football Manager & Pro Evolution Soccer:

From the reviews, both of these game looks promising for sports lovers. From what I’ve  heard both are better than other football games (Fifa x)that we have seen in the past.

7. GTA IV:

GTA fans must be amazed to see this upgrade in graphics. Same onld GTA concept with overvamped graphics is a worth experience.

6. Batman Arkham Asylum:

One of the most anticipated games of the year is hot on piracy too. The game is addictive and graphics, action scenes are mind blowing.
5. Star Wars Force Unleashed:

Best star wars game you can get. Graphics are not as good as Batman, but value for the buck for Starwars fans.
4. Need for Speed Shift:

Most advanced Real racing game. It’s clearly god of Racing graphics, the closest we’ve reached to the reality. The game was sold in large number, seeing it pirated high is no surprise. No doubt, it has hard gameplay, but once you get hold of it, it’s challenging and exciting

3. The Sims 3:

Strategy become much more addictive than what we’ve seen in the past. Try it for the first time with a caution: Spair couple of hours that follow.

2. Dragon Age Origins:

Worldcraft fans loved  this gaming title. The plot of Dragon Age is extremely rich with details that unfold over dozens of hours of play. All of this is documented in your in-game codex, which tracks conversations, plot points and other elements of your journey.

1. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2:

The Game that got lot of popularity both in the originals and pirated versions. All time FPS fans ran after this game to get a hold of it’s richer graphics, better gameplay that had been teasing gaming Enthusiasts for a while.

With Modern Warfare 2, the sheer amount of hype has been practically inescapable, with preorders alone setting it up as one of the biggest selling games of all time, the addition of even more multiplayer modes and features, and the game’s new Special Operations mode has set Infinity Ward’s lastest up as the game to beat this year.
