Apple (and so does Google) believes that you don’t need a task manager for managing/killing apps manually. But if the stats are to be believed, its the most wanted app on Android and iPhone.
The iOS 4 multitasking was a nice addon but is still crippled by an average task switcher. What if you can replace it with Mac OS’s Expose like interface ?
Multifl0w brings Expose experience to iOS4, after rocking iPhone 3.x. This version works with all iOS devices including iPod Touch, iPad iOS 3.2.x and iPhone on iOS 4.x. Works only on Jailbroken iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch devices, making it better than ALT Tab mulltitasking
It runs on top of Backgrounder, the multitasking enabler for Jailbroken iOS devices.
Here’s the Official word from the makers:
Exposé-like multitasking for iOS! Works with iOS4, and iPad! Totally rewritten for speed, reliability, a redesigned interface, and iOS4! Multifl0w shows all open apps (up to 9) on the same screen, for easy and quick task switching. The tabs are re-arrangeable, just drag an drop! In iOS4, Multifl0w can work alongside or totally replace Apple’s task switcher! Also compatible on iOS 3.1.X, just be sure to install the free app Backgrounder. Also, on iOS4, Backgrounder enables more customization so you can get the multitasking style you want.
Multifl0w gives you quick view/access 9 running apps, which an be rearranged as per convenience.
Pricing & availability
You can get Multifl0w from Cydia App store for a price of $4.99.
Multifl0w on iPhone too, that’s also decent, though bit heavier on resources.
If you use these on iPhone 3.1.3, you will observe significatly higher Free RAM, which makes it even more idealistic to use these apps for multitasking. On my iPhone 2g, iI’m able to multitask 3-5 apps (depending upon their size) and on my bro’s iPhone 3GS, its a monster.

Really like this app, except it removes the ability to switch songs when the iPod is playing, a very important feature for me. No iPod controls is a deal breaker. Hopefully this gets fixed.
