Samsung has launched an upgrade to world’s most powerful smartphone, best gets even better. This is the first phone to get a HD display. The Galaxy S II HD LTE features the world’s first 1280 x 720 pixel Super AMOLED screen in a smartphone.
SII HD is huge at 4.65-inches featuring 316 pixels per inch, which beats iPhone 4 Retina display by par.
Galaxy S II HD features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor; 16GB of internal storage; an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and 1080p video recording; a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM.
It also features Near Field Communication on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Galaxy S II HD family measures 132.65mm x 68.8mm x 9.5mm (5.22in x 2.7in x 0.37in) and weighs 142g (5oz) and has a decent battery at 1,850mAh battery and supports HSPA+ or EV-DO Rev.
The Galaxy S II HD LTE, as the name implies, comes with support for 4G-LTE networks for hyper-fast downloads and on-the-go HD video streaming.
No official word on the pricing and release date has been given at this point of time.
