So you’ve Jailbroken your iOS 5.0.1 iPad Untethered, and looking for some great tweaks to get started with.

1. RetinaPad
Normally iPhone apps run at double scale on iPad and they look ugly. RetinaPad enables Retina display functionality on iPad. Instead of running apps at a normal iPhone screen size, or at two times the resolution, RetinaPad alleviates that problem by rendering applications in a different fashion giving it a sharp look as if it was designed for iPad. 2. FullForce
An app very similar to RetinaPad but with a different approach. Instead of scaling iPhone applications and rendering them to be sharper and clearer on the iPad screen, FullForce brutally forces the applications full screen. For some applications it works perfectly, but for others you get a distorted application experience. You can try both of these mods and use the one that you like better.
3. FullScreen for Safari
Native Safari browser has good support for tabs but it still covers a large portion of the screen with it’s Chrome. Fullscreen for Safari makes Safari Chromeless, it not only full screen Safari, but also the support for gestures: swipes, shakes. Using these inputs you can switch between working tabs, go back, go forward and close the current tab. Its fully configurable via Settings. Available via BigBoss repo for $2.19.
4. iFile for iPad
iFile is a file manager straightforward. iFile allows fast navigation through the file system with inbuilt support for various file types: PDF, ZIP and most Video & Images.
iFile also features a built-in web server which allows files to be uploaded and downloaded at will. iFile is shareware, you can try it free initially.
5. Activator
Activator provides centralized gestures, button and shortcut managements for iOS. Activator allow users to assign certain gestures or button presses to user defined operations. You can change any of the default or app based gestures to suit to your needs

6. NoLockScreen
For the impatient ones: NoLockScreen removes swipe to unlock screen, so when you press power or home button in standy mode,device directly comes to home or app screen, no lockscreen. Its available for free via BigBoss Repo.
7. Music Controls Pro
This is how the Music app should have been. It inherits features from Android’s PowerAMP music player. You can control music with swipes, gestures. Among other features, there is support for third-party track information, video playback in background, Notification Center plugins and status bar integration. Music Controls Pro also has support for 46 different popular music applications. Its available via BigBoss repo for $5.99.
8. SBSettings
You can configure all of your frequently used items: Toggles, notifications and pull them down witha simple left to right swipe on notification bar. Users can swipe and simply toggle settings on or off as opposed to navigating through the boring settings app. SBSettings is available free via the BigBoss Repository.
9. ProTube HD
The way Youtube app was meant to be on iPad. With ProTube HD you can download videos in high definition, stream to an AirPlay enabled device and also extract only the audio and add to iPod playing list

10. FolderEnhancer
FolderEnhancer lets you create multiple pages of icons within a folder, have folders inside of folders, assign folders to the dock and opens folders a lot faster than the native experience. Its available via BigBoss repo.
