Galaxy S4 Performance Benchmark [vs. Android Phones]

Samsung Galaxy SIV features world’s most powerful SoC (System on a chip) Exynos 5 Octa. Its the would’s first smartphone to feature a 8-core processor (only 4 can be ON at a time).

Exynos 5 Octa chip has 4-core Cortex-A15 powerful processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. This CPU has immense raw power that can drive unparalleled computation power. To give you rough idea, Exynos 5 Dual (dual core) was the chip behind Nexus 10’s powerful and smooth experience. The same chip is now quad-core and put inside a smartphone.

The accompanying GPU also is worthy of praise. It has PowerVGX 544MP3, that is more powerful than iPad 4’s 543MP3. This GPU has enough power to play 4k video at 30FPS, similar to Tegra 4 GPU.
