Share, Mirror, Stream Android Screen to PC [Wifi, USB, Bluetooth]

If you like to Share, Mirror your Android screen on your PC, you probably are frustrated with current app options.

Though there are multiple apps floating around which lets you Stream your screen to PC, none of them performs fast enough to match smooth animations, Gaming.

There is a new app called BBQScreen to rescue created by XDA developer nebkat that offers following:

  • Smooth 25FPS screen mirroring
  • Stream Android screen over Wifi, Bluetooth, USB, without any issues.
  • Works on Windows, Mac, Linux

How to Stream, Mirror, share Android Screen on PC via Wifi, USB or Bluetooth

Process is painfully easy. You don’t need any skill in particular to accomplish screen mirroring.

pre-requisite: Your Android should be rooted.

Step 1. Head over to bbqdroid and download Client for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux.

Step 2. On your Android phone/Tablet download BBQScreen from Play store ($2.99) and launch it.

Step 3. Launch the client on your PC and enter device’s local IP address. It should start streaming immediately.

The app is new but fastest of its kind. It would tae few months before it gets rid of little bugs and quirks. But its worth the price.

  1. I have a use-case which does not appear to have been covered anywhere – I access the corporate desktop over Citrix Receiver, but the tiny screen is impossible to work with. If the device could be ‘docked’ with a nearby computer screen, and I am able to see the mobile screen scaled up, this would be good enough. However installing bespoke software on the computer or rooting the device are not options.

  2. WARNING! There are complaints that is app is buggy for many known devices and not working for some. AND WORST OF ALL The developers of this app forgot to mention the minimum system requirements both for PC and device.

  3. This app is trash. No mention on their site about it needing to be rooted until you pay and download it. Non-rooted users can try using a USB connection, but after 5 seconds the connection is broken.
