The app called JellyBean Notifications+ is a fully customizable app that replaces your Android’s notification panel with a JB-like notification panel to let you follow your social and RSS feeds, quick reply to your text messages, and dismiss unwanted notifications from within the notification dropdown. The app works right from Eclair to any version of android.

Here is the actual screenshot of the app:
JellyBean Notifications+ doesn’t have the polish we would want to see, but it sure gets the work done. At the time of writing, the app also doesn’t seem to support call notifications, which is an obvious glitch along with random slowness at times.
You can tinker the settings for JellyBean Notifications+ and play with settings like sound notifications for text messages, activating notifications for your Twitter Direct Messages, @Mentions, Timeline items, Facebook Wall posts & News Feeds, and adding custom RSS feeds. It must also be mentioned here that the app lets you specify custom update time interval, as well as the total number of items to display for each supported category.
Other than that, you can get:
- Toggles,
- Panel transparency,
- 24-hour time format,
- blinking notifications,
- support for full-screen apps,
- Auto-start on boot.
- Quickly turn on/off notifications for particular app.
The app is not very impressive at this point of time, but its sure worth giving a shot, try the free app, and buy the $2.99 one if you find it worthy.
