Highlights Apple Event: Steve, iTunes9, Cheaper iPods, Nano gets Camera and More

Here are the quick highlights of what’s coming for your way from Apple. But First a moment to cherish, with the return of Steve Jobs. Back after a liver transplant and living with a liver of a 20year young guy who died in an car-accident. He admires his liver. Anyways, It’s good to see him back on stage. 🙂

Here’s What’s New-

iPhone, iPod Touch: OS 3.1 Launch. Available Today via iTunes. Here is what is new in OS 3.1

iTunes 9: Cleaner, faster interface than before and more support for iPhone Screens, app customizations. As per Steve, “The biggest thing we’re doing is allowing you to manage your apps in iTunes. Home sharing: we’re going to let you copy songs, TV shows, etc. with up to 5 computers in your house. You’re going to see all the computers you can share with, and you’ll see the contents — you’ll be able to drag that and copy it to your library”.

Sharing music, apps now becomes possible among family members. iTunes also gets LPs (old songs in digital form), Genius playlist is improved. Now available for download.

iPod Touch gets cheaper and faster and gains double the space (upto 64GB)

Now gets support for OpenGL 2 for better gaming than ever. The new 32 and 64GB version has a faster processor, 50% faster. Just like the iPhone 3GS.

iPod Shuffle goes cheaper, and gets new fancy colors.

iPod Nano gets overall cheaper, Better and larger screen, microphone, speaker, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, Pedometer(for Nike+) and a VGA Video Camera.
