Adobe flash has been ported to iPad, the jailbroken iPads can have it all : Install Flash on iPad using an early alpha version of Flash (which is dubbed as “Frash”).
Note: Since this is a pre-alpha releases, not everything works. In fact Flash based videos wont play at all.
However, what works is the Flash games from sites like Miniclip.com, Newgrounds.comand the likes that’s it. As of now, the Frash source is available for developers to work on, not for someone to release unfinished (which has been done).
Warning: This guide is for testing & educational purposes only. Do it on your own risk.
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPad with Spirit. Note: If you are on iTunes 9.2, use this patched version of Spirit instead.
Step 2: Make sure that you have OpenSSH installed from cydia and then SSH into the iPad using cyberduck (Mac) or Filezilla (windows, linux)
Step 3: Download Frash.deb file. Navigate to /var/root/Media directory and create a folder named “Cydia”. Inside this Cydia folder, create another folder and name it “AutoInstall” and copy the Frash.deb here
Step 4: Restart your iPad and you are done. Now simply browse any Flash based site, click on the “F” logo to play the Flash content.
