LG Optimus Android to feature DualCore Tegra2, 1080p Video

LG is accelerating its Android Optimus line with a new Flagship phone featuring 8 megapixel camera.

The phone features 1080p video-recording, a dual-core processor powered by ARM9 based Nvidia Tegra2.

The phone would be arriving early 2011 (Jan or Feb) and could be the first dual core phone with 1080p Video recording.

The phone is called Star internally, however, the real name would be something well suited in Optimus series. The phone would feature Android gingerbread and would be vanilla version of Android with minor touches.

In addition, phone features a front-facing camera, includes microSD memory expandability, microUSB connectivity, and a 1500mAh battery. The specs may actually be quiet near Nexus S, due next month.
