The popular windows based file recovery application has made its way to Android Play Store. DiskDigger Beta on Android helps recover deleted images.
App is very minimalist at this point of the time and it has the capability of of scanning your Android’s SD card (internal, external SD) for deleted image files (in JPEG or PNG format), and lets you retrieve them nicely. App has just started with photos, but soon it would get more features.
DiskDigger requires ROOT access on your Android phone, so make sure your device is rooted.
Once app grabs root access, it lists the various partitions of your Android’s storage. Choose the partition that had photos you wish to recover. You can also filter photos based on type: Jpg, png. Within couple of seconds, all the recovered files would appear and you can preview them.
App runs fine on any rooted android phone /tablet.
