First there were rumors, followed by news, followed yet again by rumors, yet again news, now there are rumor videos and official announcements.
While the Apple iPhone 8 is still in the closet and iPhone 7 is raking all the moolah, Samsung once bitten by Galaxy Note 7 debacle seems to be preparing well for Galaxy S8 launch. Or atleast the leaked news and video put it that way.
While Samsung officially announced the launch date for Galaxy S8 for March 29, 2017, lot of features & specs are visible through leaked videos of the 2017 Samsung Flagship Smartphone.
The iconic fingerprint sensor based home button has been replaced by on-screen buttons. The device continues the legacy with curved and edge-to-edge display. The leaked images are also accompanied by YouTube video (watch it before it gets taken down). The video gives a hands-on with the Galaxy S8 phone. As seen in the video the finger-pirnt sensor is absent on the front, presumably it should have moved to the back where it is ergonomically placed where users place their index finger for easy nlock operations. We are yet to see the rear image of the phone.
Having sifted through numerous rumors, it is satisfying to see that the next generation of Samsung Galaxy S series is a pretty looking mean machine. In the video one can see that the large screen brings possibility to do lot more on the visual appeal of the phone.
Hopefully this time around the TouchWiz would make full use of Android 7 Nougat to make it a smooth user experience.
