BlueStacks is an application for windows that lets you Run android apps on Windows using a snappier Virtualization mechanism.
Install BlueStacks on your Windows machine and the software allows you to run an instance of Android app right inside windows.
This is no different from installing VMware or Virtualbox and running android inside it, but only being easier and slightly faster.
Right now the BlueStacks website appears to be misbehaving on multiple fronts, behold your patience, the fruit is going to be tasty.

To correct people misleading Bluestacks running any Android app. Bluestacks only supports certain Android application because a lot of Android applications are soley written to run on the native ARM Architecture microprocessor platform.
