The flagship Android Tablet OS, Honeycomb, made it to various android devices like Desire HD, Evo, Droid Incredible. ITs now time for Nexus one to get the Honeycomb treatment.
Android 3.0 Honeycomb SDK port to N1 alpha v0.1 is unofficial, and in premature stages. As of now basic stuff works, including accelerometer, Bluetooth, WiFi, camera and sound. However, the alpha rated port does not allow phone or data calls.
The official Honeycomb will hit the market with the Motorola Xoom‘s launch, and we would have to wait few days more before it becomes perfectly useful. At this moment we don’t recommend honeycomb alpha to be your primary OS, but yes, the excitement can be satisfied.
