Swift arrival
When you are a late entrant to a meeting, it is wise to enter silently, using the option provided. Go to Settings>Audio> Always mute the microphone when joining a meeting.
You may always un-mute your microphone when you want to speak using the Mute button.
Invite people instantly
In case you forget to invite a participant and your meeting has already started, you can invite them instantly with Alt+I on a PC or ⌘Cmd+I on a Mac to Invite Window.
Be in the kitchen but don’t look like it
While you may be working from home, you might want to leave everyone guessing about it using a custom background. This comes in handy while not affecting the overall mood setting of the call and maintaining professionalism. No one likes to have a sink full of dirty dishes in their Video background.
Go to Settings > Virtual Background> Select the desired image.
Never miss a Zoom meeting
Download and install Zoom App for iOS or Android. In the App Settings, select the Meeting Reminders option so that you get a notification whenever a scheduled Zoom meeting is about to start. And you may join it with clikc of a button on the App itself, even if you are away from desktop computer.
Mute all in one shot
Do this by Alt+M on a PC or ⌘Cmd+Ctrl+M on a Mac. So going forward, if any participant needs to speak, they will manually unmute their microphone and this avoids chaos. And not everyone is present in a silent setting.
