Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rear Camera to feature Triple variable aperture

As the launch date comes close, news and rumors tend to heat up more. In a latest news leak, Ice Universe said that Samsung China engineers claim that Note 10 rear camera will feature Triple variable aperture.

So user can either manually (Pro Mode, change aperture, shutter speed, manually focus on objects) change the aperture to suit best light available or software will do it automatically. The three apertures said to be available on Note 10 rear camera are F1.5, F1.8 and F2.4. Software enhancements on the camera App remain to be seen, but surely they are going to make good use of this feature. For example, Samsung Galaxy S10 takes much better images in comparison to the Galaxy Note 9 despite fo that fact that Both S10 and Note 9 and even S9 have similar rear camera setup.

While Dual aperture is already a boon for smartphone photography, imagine the new paradigms we’ll explore with Triple aperture. You can easily capture best shots in Day Light with f/2.4 and same gets your more focus too. While night shots look amazing with f/1.5, yet is has less focus. If you are a Pro, you know which aperture to use in which situation, if not, rely on the excellent camera software app.

Image from Samsung official website shows that F2.4 aperture mode will bring sharpness to Daylight photos.

Image from Samsung official website shows that F1.5 aperture mode will bring in more light and improve brightness of photos shot in low light.

So in theory, the f/1.8 will deliver an intermediate point between the two aperture modes already existent in Galaxy S10 rear camera.
