Samsung Galaxy S8 – Updates and rumors

We have been keeping a constant tab on the release dates, spec updates, release countries list, etc about the Samsung Galaxy S8. For all we know, the next Galaxy phone is definitely going to be one stressed out kid. It would hve the load to carry on the legendary Galaxy S popularity while still making up for the Note 7 setbacks. Not to mention Samsung’s diminishing market share, as reported in earlier article after reviewing the Gartner worldwide smartphones sales report.

We hope to have a best ever screen, with best ever camera and over the top specs. The rumors are pretty supportive of our hopes. Here is a laundry list of specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy S8, as observed through various news/rumor sources across the web:

  • First off, No more Bezel, end to end, corner to corner flawless display
  • The display screen might even be curvedĀ on the edges
  • Home Button may go away completely mking way for onscreen buttons
  • Fingerprint scanner might move to the back similar to Google Pixel (ergonomic)
  • Screen may be an upgraded AMOLED display with size around 5.7 inche
  • May be available in two screen sizes 5.7inch and 6.2inch just like the Apple iPhone 7
  • And two sizes would haveĀ 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries, respectively
  • USB Type – C is highly anticipated
  • Camera definitely the best the world has ever seen, break all previous benchmarks
  • To have Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 under the hood
  • Minimum of 4 GB RAM, might aswell be 6GB of RAM, with 64GB of storage, expandable
  • 3.5mm audio jack and dual speakers for Dolby sound
  • May have Samsung Bixby virtual assistant to take on Google Assitant, Apple Siri & Microsoft Cortona
  • An embedded Iris scanner
  • Screen with “force touch” to notice and deliver different commands depending on finger pressure on screen
