Search engines are real life savers! They have made learning easy and accessible. You can literally find any info you are searching for on search engines like Google, Bing, Duckduckgo, Yahoo! and so on. We are going to look into the flaws of Microsoft Bing. We are going to do a little comparison between Bing and the king of search engines worldwide, that is Google. Don’t get me wrong! Microsoft Bing is a wonderful search engine tool but it has a few flaws that make it less functional. In other words, the lesser the flaws the better the tool.

Before we dive into the details of the topic in this article, let’s discuss a little on purpose of a search engine.
What is the job of a good search engine?
A search engine as the name implies, is an engine, tool or machine which helps to search for useful links, meaning of words, pronunciations, sounds, type of English, and so on. Well, during my days in the college, search engines served as life savers many times on assignments that we weren’t taught in the lecture room. Search engines such as google, Bing, yahoo…have been useful in linking users with the kind of information they want to read about or the services they are searching for. It is done simply by putting what you are looking for in form of texts and then bam!! It appears.
One of the biggest flaws of Microsoft Bing is in the SEARCH RESULTS. After successfully inputting the information you are searching for in form of texts in the search space or bar denoted for that purpose, the next thing that should appear are the links associated with the information you are looking for. To digress a little, there are many websites and blogs that already have the information you are searching for online. What these search engines do simply is just to collate all these sites and present them in an organized manner according to how relevant they are to the exact information you are looking for. There is more to this but that’s not the main emphasis in this article.
Microsoft Bing when compared to Google, is a very tiring and frustrating search engine to use as regards the search results you get after inputting what you are searching for. In Microsoft Bing, you can search for a particular topic and get results irrelevant to what you are searching for. This is in no way helpful, but simply defeats the purpose of a search engine totally.C
Most people don’t hesitate to make use of Google to search for information because of the numerous benefits it stands to offer- accurate search results, search speed and many other useful features unlike Bing.
