There are only two major Battle Royale clans online. It is either PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or Call of Duty: Mobile. We have published guides to play PUBG in a better way. Here are some top of the line Pro Tips to Ace the PUBG Battle Royale setup and ensure that you get the “Winner Winner chicken Dinner” for your Team.
Prep up your device for PUBG
PUBG Mobile isn’t for the faint hearted devices. You’re device has to have Adnroid 5.1+ or iOS 9.0+ OS to run PUBG Mobile. Processor speeds should b above 480 with frequency of 2GHz+. The game also demands 5 GB free space on device to run smoothly. Try to keep the number of Apps running in background to a minimum to avoid any hick-ups during gameplay.
Your game is only as good as your Network
4G speed is recommended when you are playing over mobile networks. A fast WiFi is always preferred as at it would have lowest latency rates and will not give your jitters when you try to work on aiming at a fast moving opponent.
Things to watch-out for in Game Lobby
Always select a local server to ensure smooth gameplay. Closer the server, lesser the lags.
Graphics adjustments
Depending on your device’s specs, choose a suitable graphics options in settings tab. While a higher graphics detail will ensure you a clear vision of the enemy from a distance, it will also affect your device’s display output efficiency. You may have to tinker it with a hit and trial approach.
Turn on/off Aim Assist and Gyroscope assist
Turning on the auto aim assist will help you with those sweaty finger tips. And it’s a good tool to ace the game for novices. Alternatively you can turn up the Gyroscope to get a better aim.
View Modes
You get to choose between First Person Play that gives you a first hand experience of all the action. Alternatively you can choose Third Person Play mode that gives you an out of body experience.
Turning On/Off your Team chat
Online multiplayer gaming is taken to another level with voice chat. Text chat is there too but you won’t get much time to take your fingers off the controls to type anything. Nor will your team be able to reply back. If you think your voice may sound a bit mature to others, you can alternatively use quick-chat messages that are pre-built into the PUBG Mobile chat.
Customise controls
Your game is not limited to how good you manage the preset buttons. You can customize them as per your ergonomic preferences and up your game. Just go to Settings > Controls to change button options as per your choice.
Also in the Settings>Controls section, click on the “customize” option. This is where the juice is! You have so many customizations waiting for you’re here including Transparency controls for the buttons.
Don’t fall, Glide!
Take control of your fall as soon as you leave the drop plane. Lean forward to aim towards your landing target and try to reach it before anyone else. First mover advantage is the key here!
Rake up early kills
Lets say you can’t make us your mind and you do not jump throughout the flight. What happens next? The aircraft will forcefully drop you at the end of its dropzone. This means you are usually among the guys who got disconnected, now their players are like chickens for you and other active players to cook. This Pro tip can lead you away from the killzone, but it will help you rake up those early kill numbers safely. You can kill those inactive zombies with a knife, why waste a bullet on them?
Choosing a Game mode
A player gets to choose mode they wish to play. They can choose Squad Play, Pair Play or Solo battle. By choosing the option next to Maps option.
How to find teammates speaking your language
This is a new addition from version 9. Rather than getting dumped with a team speaking a different language, there’s now an option to select two languages as a preference. That will try to partner you up, so you can at least communicate easily. It’s in the game mode selection area as above, but we’ve not found it particularly effective.
PUBG War-gasm
This is the Royal Rumble kind of game mode where you just go all out, all guns pointing your guns at the enemies. Don’t worry if someone gets the good of you, your player will re-spawn while the battle is still on.
Map too big for you? Try the Mini-Zone
This is the retracted version of the larger maps where you play with same number of players (100) but in a much compressed map. So in a small area you get a dense amount of players and the excitement is taken to the next level with more frequent airdrops. It is available during select days of the week though.
Some dressing sense
This is a battle, a war of sorts, you need to dress accordingly. Showing off fancy dresses in the lobby is fine, but once you git the ground, get your guns blazing and a tactical wear gear which is in sync. You can undo your fancy dress once you leave the lobby. Before the actual game starts, you can go pickup a field-suitable dressing right on top of the crates near the barrel stack.
Jump carefully
Jumping the warzone is your Launchpad into the game. Think carefully as to where and when you wish to take the leap. If you jump too soon, you’ll have to rush to the ground at the earliest to gather weapons and start slaying opponents. If you you jump too late, you won’t find players around you for miles. You’ll just waste time running from pillar to post looking for players to kill. Populated areas are the usual favorites among the jumpers, but it’s always better to jump with your gang rather than following your own hunch. It may leave you lonely and exposed.
Be Choosy with your weapons
Pick the correct size gun suited for the job. You can’t take a sniper rifle for close combat situations. And you certainly can’t snipe with a handgun. During the initial minutes of the game its ok to pick up any gun that you come across, its your first line of defense. Once you’ve picked-up the gear and stuff, its time to get serious, and pick up the more useful guns.
Weapon of Choice for PUBG?
For far range shots like Sniping from a distance, go for AWM. It can only be picked up from an airdrop, so make sure you reach the airdrop as soon as it hits the ground. And a silencer should come in handy along with your AWM.
For an almost hands-on, face-to-face battle, go for Uzi with extended magazine. Another alternative for near combat, SCAR with a scope is quite accurate and it controls recoil too.
Drop unnecessary items
Depending on type of your backpack, it can only carry a certain number of items. So avoid picking up everything under the sun. And if you are unable to pickup useful items, drop a few useless ones.
Duck when pickip up dead man crates
It is a good idea to not sit like a duck in the line of fire when going to pick-up items from dead player crates.
Stay Away from Red Zone
It’s a no brainer, stay away from the Red Zone, that’s where indiscriminate shelling happens and you don’t want to loose your precious life for a blind bomb which fell from the sky.
Use drinks and painkillers and bandages
Its is always a good idea to stay on top of your health. Keep highest energy levels with drinks and health with bandages or medicine shots.
