The new Samsung Galaxy S10 has been getting rave reviews since its release a few months ago, from professional reviewers and amateur phone users alike. The praise has been well merited because with the S10 series, Samsung has made a phone that has the potential to dominate its competition for a while yet.
Camera
One of the features of Samsung phones that kept it top of the smartphone market over the years, even at the expense of brands like Apple and Huawei is their cameras. It is pleasing to see that the S10 does not disappoint in this respect. The Galaxy S10’s cameras is impressive. The Live focus Camera mode is capable of blurring the background of portraits, focusing on the subject alone (a feature that is great for when you are taking selfies). The amazing thing about the feature is that the user is not only able to adjust the amount of blur after a picture is taken. They are also able to choose between four different blur effects anytime whether before the photo is taken or after.
In-screen fingerprint reader
Another feature of the Samsung Galaxy S10 that makes it stand out at least for the people in the majority market is the in-screen fingerprint reader. The Galaxy S10 is the first widely available flagship phone with an in-display sensor. What makes the S10 even more unique in this sense is that the phone’s fingerprint reader is a more secure ultrasonic sensor instead of an optical fingerprint reader common to other phones of its type.
The in screen fingerprint sensor in your Galaxy S10 might take some getting used to of course because unlike in other previous phones where the sensor is at the back of the phone or on the home button, there is no conventional target to feel for when you are trying to unlock your phone (since the sensor is embedded in the display), but it takes one or two days at most to get used to it and to be able to unlock your phone as normal.
